Go ahead and disparage and mock Rant. You can all kiss my no longer, fat, white ass. I have gone from a 38, down to a 36 and now I am looking into 34s. I feel great and I don’t feel deprived at all. Even having a few beers here and there I am still dropping weight. So much for the alcohol myth.
Yesterday I ate:
Rye bread, tomatoes and sprouts
Several bowls of whole wheat pasta with onions and peppers
One green salad
3 medium potatoes
2 peanut butter sandwiches and multigrain bread
As you can see this is a very low fat diet, but not as low fat as McDougal would like. He does not advocate peanut butter but shit, I need some fat. He also frowns on drinking. He doesn’t think it’s fattening but he does think it leads to bad food choices. So far this hasn’t been an issue with me. This is clearly not a calorically restricted diet at all. Keep out the fats and you’ll drop weight. It’s really as simple as that. Start eating more fats and you can count on getting fat.
For the record, I am not interested in anybody’s dietary advice. This works. It’s been proven to work and it is working for me. No more Prilosec. After 2 days eating this way, I no longer needed that crap. No more BP pills and I threw out my statins a long time ago. I am clearly on the road back to superior health. I was healthy as a horse for years but that excess weight caught up to me. Fortunately things were more borderline than anything, so I was able to take matters into my own hands. It feels very empowering to know that I have the power to improve my own health. Trust me. You don’t want to let the medical establishment get their claws into you. The third leading cause of death in the USA are medical mistakes! I can certainly believe that.
My workouts are quite simple. I might do some long cycle clean and jerk one day, heavy hands the next and heavy bag after that. I also walk a bit in the evening. Nothing more than 30 minutes most days. When diet is dialed in, it hardly matters what kind of workout you do.
